1. OUTDOOR SALES REPRESENTATIVES

Profile:
  • Be holder of  a Higher School Certificate or any other academic and professional certificates as may qualify them for the post Sales representatives
  • Degree/Diploma in Sales and /or Marketing or Communication or any other related professional qualification will be a definite advantage
  • Experience in vehicle sales/ motor industry will be a plus 
  • Holder of a valid driving license for manual vehicles

Other Desirable Competencies: Proven Success in prospecting and Outdoor Sales is a MUST for this position. Strong Telephone and communication skills will be highly regarded.

Job Duties: The successful candidates will, amongst others, be required:
  • to generate new business from both individual buyers and Small Enterprises;
  • to fully participate in and implement sales promotional activities; 
  • to closely monitor competitive landscape and report thereon to the Sales Manager;
  • to provide world class service to our customers; and
  • to ensure that all sales formalities are completed prior to delivery of new vehicles.
His day to day duties will primarily involve finding and communicating with very demanding buyers, setting appointments, carry out Test Drives and using your sharp presentation skills to demonstrate the benefits of owning a TOYOTA.


2. FLEET SALES SPECIALIST

Profile:
  • Be Holder of a first degree in Sales and/or Marketing or any other relevant qualification acceptable to Management;
  • At least five years sales experience in dealing with business to business customers;
  • Although not a pre-requisite, experience in vehicle sales, plant and equipment and business solutions will be a plus; 
  • Holder of a valid driving license for manual vehicles; and
  • Be well versed with Microsoft Office Packages and CRM Dynamic.

Other Desirable Competencies: The candidates will also be required to demonstrate the following important skills and attributes:

Job Duties: The main purpose of the job is to acquire new fleet customers through effectively being the window/touch point for vehicle purchase/repurchase and after sales service in order to maximise sales and after sales business activities through fleet customers.
The successful candidates will, amongst others:
  • Be responsible for acquisition of new commercial accounts by prospecting and visiting businesses/fleet customers; make use of all forms of prospecting to grow Toyota's fleet business including but not limited to visits, telephone calls, emails, direct mail, and events;
  • Explore all sales opportunities for growth;
  • Proactively seek out Small and Medium size enterprises for business opportunities
  • Fully participate in and implement sales promotional activities for fleet customers; 
  • Closely monitor competitive landscape and report thereon to the Sales Manager;
  • Collect data from fleet users (fleet size, fleet structure, replacement cycle, etc.); and  
  • Ensure that all sales formalities are completed prior to delivery of new vehicles.

3. MOTOR MECHANIC TECHNICIAN/MECHANICS GRADE I, II &III

Profile:
  • Brevet  de Technicien  en Mechanique   d'Automobile; or
  • National Trade Certificate Level III or II; or
  • Brevet d'Aptitude Professionnelle en Mechanique d'Automobile; 
  • Three years working experience;
  • Experience in heavy duty mechanics and heavy vehicle driving licence will be an advantage.

Job Duties: 
  • Deal with various working clearances and components, dismantle, reassemble and adjust carburettors, tune engines, deal with and adjust combustion engines, diesel fuel pump and nozzles;
  • Understand measurements required in the trade and use cylinder gauges, Micrometers, dial & depth gauges, crankshaft indicators and precision instruments;
  • Read sketches and drawings and identify all parts of vehicles in English/French names;
  • Report progress and or problems to the Responsible Officer;
  • Test road worthiness of a vehicle;
  • Understand simple dimensional sketches and drawings; 
  • Repair and adjust clutches, gearboxes, coupling, rear axles, brake systems (hydraulic and power), steering systems, springs, swivel pins and stub axles;
  • Rest crankshaft for alignment and refit with complete set of bearings by scraping; 
  • Locate and repair faults on vehicle;
  • Keep workshop environment clean; 
  • Assist in identifying mechanical problems of vehicles
  • Repair and carry out minor adjustments to brakes, clutches and other mechanical parts; overhaul & reassemble simple mechanical assembly of motor vehicles running on petrol and diesel;
  • Use and maintain tools and equipment of the trade
  • Inform the Responsible Officer of any problem encountered during maintenance;
  • Perform any other relevant duties as assigned.


4. PAINT MIXERS

Profile:
  • Studied upto at least Form III
  • Recognized Certificate in Paint Mixing, Colour Matching, Spraying Methods, Paint Testing, and Polish Matching and Application 
  • 1-3 years working experience
  • Computer literacy will be a definite advantage 
  • Equivalent qualifications will also be considered

Job Description:
To be responsible to the Body and Paint Manager more especially to perform:

1) Colour Matching methods
  • Recognizing colours,
  • Making of test pieces with rod application or on metal plates,
  • Using the mixing banks,
  • Keeping all containers clean,
  • Keeping stock of colours and other consumables.
        
2) Surface Preparation
  • Be able to work with Primer, Putty and surfacer,
  • Apply Body sealer,

3) Masking Method
  • Masking Equipment and materials,
  • Masking paper, Vinyl sheets, Special Covers and shading,
  • Borders for masking,
  • Cleaning and degreasing.

4) Spraying Methods
  • Purpose of Spraying (Protection + Aesthetic effect + Identification),
  • Drying processes and Top Coat,
  • Knowledge of Pigments, Resins and additives,
  • Solvents, Thinners, Hardeners etc,
  • Preparation for Top Coating and checking for defects and colour adjustments,

5) Polishing Methods
  • Drying equipment, Air Dryers, Forced Dryers and drying times,
  • Wetstone, Sandpaper, Buffer Compound, Polishers, Flannel Rags etc,
  • Check the paint Drying time, paint Texture,
  • Checking for Runs and seeds,
  • Polishing with Buffing compounds,
  • Check quality finish after final washing.

6) Safety Equipments and Safety Items
  • Keep in order Goggles, Mask, Dust filters, Gloves, Solvent resistant gloves and shoes, and other protective equipment 
  • Use and maintain tools and equipment of the  trade
  • Inform the Responsible Officer of any problem encountered;
  • To perform any other relevant duties that may be assigned to him/her.

5. PANEL BEATER GRADES I, II & III

Profile:
  • At least Certificate of Primary Education,
  • National Trade Certificate Level III or II,
  • 1- 3 years working experience,
  • Equivalent qualifications will also be considered.

Job Description:
  • Completing allocated work right the first time;
  • Maximising efficiency by completing work within the budget time and planning schedule;
  • To ensure that he is well dressed, according to his duties;
  • To ensure that tools and equipment are used properly and in good conditions;
  • To use Protective Personnel Equipment provided for carry out the task;
  • To strip, repair, replace, fit and adjust new or repaired body panels on vehicles up to required manufacturer's standard;
  • To read and interpret drawing as per manufacturer's specification and to compare actual vehicle measurement against specification;
  • To use frame aligner and measurement tool to correct any body/chassis misalignment;
  • To estimate materials required for the job;
  • To ensure the proper use of welding equipment such as MIG, Spot welder, CO-2 welder;
  • To apply putty on repaired areas and sand accordingly to provide a smooth surface;
  • To ensure timely and accurate communication with panel beater foremen, workshop controller, quality controller and head of department for additional repairs that may be required;
  • To ensure all customers requests have been attended as specified on the job cards;
  • To participate in identification of training needs and development programs;
  • To ensure that their working area at all times;
  • To ensure the use of seat covers, steering covers and floor mats within the vehicle;
  • If needed, 48hrs before you will be informed, to perform overtime;
  • Any other relevant duties that may be assigned to him.

Other Desirable Competencies:
  • Knowledge of Automobile Body Parts and Painting process;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Good understanding of Estimate of Repairs, and Motor Surveyor submission;
  • Safety and Health consciousness
  • Punctual and Regular in Attendance 
  • Valid driving license.


6. PAINTER GRADES I, II & III

Profile:
  • At least Certificate of Primary Education,
  • National Trade Certificate Level III or II,
  • 1- 3 years working experience,
  • Equivalent qualifications will also be considered.

Job Description:
  • Completing allocated work right the first time;
  • Maximising efficiency by completing work within the budget time and planning schedule;
  • To wash vehicles before preparation;
  • To ensure that he is well dressed, according to his duties;
  • To ensure that tools and equipment are used properly and in good conditions;
  • To use Protective Personnel Equipment provided for carry out the task;
  • To sand putty, mask vehicle where needed to prevent any damage on part of vehicle which don't need repairs;
  • To apply filler on area to be repaired;
  • To verify that colour prepared by paint mixer is same as on vehicle;
  • To sand filler, degrease area under repairs and again mask vehicle;
  • To ensure that repair area is well degreased to prevent silicon, dust;
  • To apply paint on repaired area;
  • To polish vehicle accordingly;
  • To ensure timely and accurate communication with paint foremen, workshop controller, quality controller and head of department for additional repairs that may be required;
  • To ensure all customers requests have been attended as specified on the job cards;
  • To participate in identification of his training needs and development programs;
  • To ensure that their working area, tools and equipment remains clean;
  • To ensure the use of seat covers, steering covers and floor mats within the vehicle.
  • If needed, 48hrs before you will be informed, to perform overtime.
  • Any other relevant duties that may be assigned to him.

  • Knowledge of Automobile Body Parts and Painting process;
