To further boost up our activities and to take up new challenges, we are looking for a suitably qualified, experienced, dynamic and highly motivated candidate to fulfil the role of IT Manager in the company. The candidate we are looking for should possess: • SC/HSC; Recognized degree in Information Technology or any IT related field. • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) or any other equivalent qualification. • Post graduate qualifications in IT related fields will be a definite advantage • Minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience at managerial level • Strong organizational, analytical and planning and interpersonal skills and attention to details • Problems diagnosing and solving skills • Ability to work under pressure, to meet tight deadlines and multitasking • Project management Skills • Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality • Innovative and virtualization mindset • Good communication skills, both written and verbal Equivalent / Alternative qualifications to the above will also be considered. JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title IT Manager Reports To Chief Operating Officer or any other designated officer for overall guidance and support Job Purpose Overall management and control of resources to provide an efficient and cost-effective Information system delivery service to users / customers / clients that is continuously responsive to changing business and user requirements. Ensure that the IT systems and structure of the company are in line with technological advancement and support the digitalisation of business processes. Risk Management in line with Company and Group Audit and Compliance Policy and Procedures. Duties/Key Responsibilities To be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of the IT System, Software programs, network systems, telecoms systems to enhance internal and external communication as well as well service delivery and more specifically to: • To lead the IT department and manage the IT team and ensure high levels of productivity and quality within the team; while decreasing error probability to ensure high customer satisfaction. • To manage and ensure effective implementation of relevant projects for the company and recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization needs and outcome, identifying problems and evaluating trends. • To plan, develop and implement the IT budget • To formulate IT Policies and guidelines and procedures • To maintain all service level agreements and licensing requirements • To undertaking IT projects (initiate, implement and review) • To enable the effective and efficient use and control of IT resources • To oversee the completion of all technical activities including upgrades, patches, software installation and projects • To maintain knowledge of current technology and stay abreast of new technological advancements in order to provide cost-effective solutions for the organization • To manage crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems; • To maintain a strong working knowledge of the organization’s computer systems and software • To evaluating user needs and systems functionality and ensuring that IT facilities meet the needs of business • To produce management reports within the business system as required • To represent the company, as and when required, both externally and internally, formally and informally, establishing confidence and respect both for the functions represented and as an individual. • To serve as contact and liaison for all managers, IT suppliers and vendors • To negotiate with suppliers, where appropriate, to ensure cost effectiveness • To review performance management and evaluations for IT Staff and mentoring • To ensure that the values of the company are followed with commitment, passion and excitement • To pprovide on-site and remote technical assistance to end users; • To keep an inventory of all hardware and software resources • To educate and train users on correct use of IT resources at their disposal • To create and maintain good technical documentation and SOP. • To troubleshoot computer hardware and software, as and when required. • To comply with, promote and implement applicable IT security in relation to computer systems and network • To monitor of Anti-Virus and Backup software • To monitor of company’s Website and doing update as and when requested • To test and evaluate new technologies on the Market and their relevance to the company • To carry out commission of new equipment with Suppliers • To work continuously on a task until completion and respond within agreed time limits to call-outs/follow ups • Work closely with other sections to maintain and facilitate a good customer service. • To perform such other duties directly related to the main duties listed above or related to the delivery of the output and results expected from the IT Manager. Key Relationships Internal –Senior Management Team, All Managers, all IT/ Computer Users External – Company guests and visitors requiring IT/Computer services, Service Providers, suppliers, regulators.
