Design
The new under-body protection package, fitted to all 4x4 models is larger and thicker to deflect sticks and rocks to protect vital mechanical and fuel-system components. Interior
The Toyota Hilux Double Cab offers a 5-seat layout with fabric or leather-trimmed seats (depending on trim), featuring adjustable rear headrests and 60/40 split-folding rear seats (on higher trims) for cargo versatility. Standard amenities include manual air conditioning, four power windows with one-touch driver-side control, and a multi-information display (color TFT on select variants). Storage is optimized with cup holders, seatback pockets, and a lockable glove box. Higher trims add leather steering wheels, touchscreen audio with reverse camera, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, and six speakers, balancing utility with modern connectivity. The cabin prioritizes durability with rugged floor carpeting and assist grips, while top models include auto climate control and illuminated entry for enhanced comfort.
Safety
The new Toyota Hilux has SUV levels of safety technology in addition to its increased mechanical grip and stopping performance achieved through the new suspension and brake package. Our top of the range HILUX models include seven airbags - driver, front passenger, driver's knee, front-seat side and side curtain-shield airbags. Active safety features include vehicle stability control, active traction control, anti-skid brakes with brake assist and electronic brake-force distribution, and trailer sway control.
Comfort
At the same time, the latest Hilux offers SUV-like features including a more compliant ride, quieter cabins and higher levels of comfort and convenience with standard air-conditioning, touch-screen display audios, cruise control, more supportive seats and power-operated windows, mirrors and door locks.
Performance
The Toyota Hilux Double Cab delivers robust performance with a choice of engines, including a 2.4-liter turbo diesel producing 150 Hp at 3,400 rpm and 400 Nm of torque between 1,600-2,000 rpm, as well as a 2.8-liter diesel offering up to 201 Hp and 500 Nm of torque. Paired with either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission and part-time 4WD, it provides excellent traction and versatility for both urban and off-road driving. The suspension setup—double wishbone front and leaf spring rear—ensures stability and comfort, while a high ground clearance and an 80-liter fuel tank support long-distance and heavy-duty use.
