Hino Motors, Ltd., commonly known simply as Hino, is a Japanese manufacturer of commercial vehicles and diesel engines (including those for trucks, buses, and other vehicles) headquartered in Hino-shi, Tokyo. The company is a leading producer of light, medium, and heavy-duty diesel trucks in Asia. It is a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation. Hino uses the Toyota Production System to achieve continuing gains in productivity and quality throughout their operations. Hino has adapted that system to their model line to offer customers the best possible products at competitive prices.
